Prof. Rossato from UniDP visited InoCure offices at Stepanska and laboratory at Hloubetin. The aim was to strengthen bonds between the two partners, to plan future scientific cooperation leading to selection of further active molecules (i.e. ilicin) for obesitological research and agreement on joint development of novel 3D culture models for obesity research based on InoMATRIX scaffolds; to discuss research and testing strategy and plan for experimental research for nanoBAT project.
Events, articles on business magazines, conferences, journals, publications. These will provide specific details on the scientific quality of the research demonstrating, how it opens new innovative avenues for research and how it represents progress compared to where research on the assessment of brown adipose tissue activity stood before.
A nanoBAT Workshop was held at UniDP in Padova on 15 September 2017, where:
1. Prof. Roberto Vettor from the University of Padova gave the welcome speech;
2. Prof. Marco Rossato from the University of Padova presented the nanoBAT work being performed at UniDP regarding the transformation of WAT into BAT;
3. Matej Buzgo from Inocure presented their research on nanoparticles used as carriers for different substances through the bloodstream to be used in nanoBAT;
4. Octaviu Moldovan from Imedica gave a talk on the development of a drug from idea to the market.
“This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation
programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant agreement No 691061”
