Our consortium is composed of two academic: Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) and Universita degli Studi di Padova (UP) and three industrial:
Imedica SA (IMED), Artia Nano - Engineering & Consulting IKE (Artia), and Inocure SRO (INNO), complementary entities with adequate technical and management abilities for the successful implementation of this project. The consortium participants are experts in chemistry, nano-materials, pharmacology, molecular biology, business, marketing, as well as product design and commercialization.
The nanoBAT project will create an effective intersectoral co-operation between academia institutions and SMEs to advance the concept of nanostructured delivery-L-menthol system for brown adipose tissue activation. nanoBAT will put together knowledge, research expertise and resources from two large academic participants with business, market and commercialization experience from three small-medium enterprises (SMEs).
